Carpe Diem Farms provides a plethora of amenities to enhance your visit to Highlands and the farm. Totally surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest the farm has nearly endless hiking trails...pack your backpack with a water bottle and lunch and take a several hour hike to Yellow Mountain along our magical trails and stop at a waterfall to rest.  Or a short ten minute stroll to CDFs Angel Falls and bring your journal to capture your thoughts.  

You may want to center yourself with a walk on our seven-curcuit Cretan labyrinth which is a part of the World-Wide Labyrinth Project.  Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress, Founder of Veriditas, The World-Wide Labyrinth Project, whose vision is, "to activate and facilitate the transformation of the Human Spirit.
